Hey Laura, hows are you?
That alien thing was like a side project over the summer. Havent drawn anything in ages, I'm doing character models and environments in 3d now. Its a bit techy but by the end of the year I should get the hang of it. So ye whats happening your end?

That sounds pretty awesome! the stuff that you've got up looks pretty amazing, i'm really excited to see where you go cuz you look like you're doing fantastically!
I'm doing pretty well I specialise mainly in video now which is pretty fun and interesting, I think i'm becoming one of those art people which I think is a good thing! Oooh I work in Milton keynes Gallery now as well as a gallery assistant and invidulator. I actually have loads of fun doing it so i'm really considering getting into more gallery work when I finish uni, If i'm not a fully fledged artist of course.
errmmmm I live in northampton now tho i'm actually back in wellingborough for christmas now and i actually half appreciate being in wellingborough which is suprising. I think its mainly the fact we have heating here!
We should meet up sometime and go for a drink! I was randomly found that headphone splitter we had on foundation the other day and i just thought of all the well fun times we had i miss that stuff. Making playlists and all :P

I chanced upon your gallery while looking for Reading Festival deviations, and I had to add the Asylum set of photos to my collection. They're well-shot, and despite the obvious attraction of anything shot in an abandoned building using black and white colours, they've got a real depth to them. I especially like the broken window in Asylum 2 and the close-up of the Vacant door. They remind me of an abandoned mental health care home me and some friends found in Colchester - something about the empty rooms and crumbling signs of life. Anyway, keep up the good work!

Thanks :) things are going goooood, just about to go in my second year at uni! Well I was gonna go see alkaline trio until i realised i would be in reading then! which is kinda anoying until i realised theyre also playing reading so i can see them then lol. good play to play the roadmender tho! its getting slowly better :P

Whops i've only just realised that you wrote on here! i'm not too good with this anymore!! ahh working full time sucks! where you working? are you gonna go to that reunion thing in irchester country park in august? I was thinking i might swing by.
The arts going pretty good actually we didnt really have an end of year project we just had to put up all the stuff we'd done in the year into a mini exhibition thing. I'm moving more into video art now which is exciting.. i feel like i've got SO much to learn tho! but the tutors like what i've done so far so thats good!
i'm loving all the stuff you've got on your deviant art by the way its awesome :D
so your first year of uni was a success then?

Hey Laura, yep passed this year with first class honours. Serious presure next year though.
Thanks for the compliment not sure that you'd like aliens. Its just a little summer project me and a few friends are doing.

Ive just quite my summer job actually, I was selling caravans. I worked there for two mounths and I still no nothing about them.

I like your latest work very much reminds me of Gilbert and George actually. I supose even making short films you have to use editing software. Ive been told adobe premier is pretty good. Keep posting stuff up its interesting to see what your up to.

I havent heard about the reunion is it a school thing or n'thampton uni?

Its a school thing, I think roy is organising it. I just got invited to it on facebook. I think theyre evening getting people who didnt go to 6th form to come. you should conform and get facebook!
oooh selling caravans a? sounds fun haha. i'm just looking for a new part time job as i'm actually gonna be living in northampton next year in a student house which should be fun!
and first class honours! get you! we just get grades which is pretty anoying but i worked mine out as a low first or a high 2:1 really borderline so i was pretty pleased with that.
At the moment i've been using final cut pro to edit with as its on the uni computers and gooooood! but i hear adobe is really good, i need to have a good on some first see what theyre like.. i'll see if i can put up any of my video stuff i've been doing its very basic at the moment but i want it to become a huge installation with loads of tvs everywhere like video walls and stuff with different things on the monitors but building up one image on all of them.... that sounds a bit confusing but maybe you know what i mean :P
Yeah keep posting up your stuff too I love seeing what your getting up to your so good!!!
Oh yeah i found my headphone spilitters the other day reminded me of coachrides to london and playlists! I actually have an ipod now!
